Technology Projects

This lesson took information from a Shakespeare play that the students read and had trivia questions based on the play. The students are divided into teams and have to work together to try and get as many correct answers as possible. This lessons tested their knowledge and their retention of what they read.

Throughout the course of the class, I created lesson plans for projects that I could hypothetically use in a classroom situation. As well as the lesson plan, I created an example of the project itself.

This lesson required students to create a Facebook page pretending to be a character from a literary work and structure the Facebook page as though they were the actual character posting. It required them to really read into the characters motivations, actions, and try and understand what they did and why.

This lesson requires students to make a stop motion video depicting various vocabulary words, such as simile or personification. It has them thinking more creatively about the terms and how to show an actual example of them, which will help them learn how to recognize examples in the texts we read in class.
