For my outside activities, I subscribed to the Tech and Learning magazine. For whatever reason, I never received the actual paper copy of the magazine, but I did receive the electronic version, which was fitting for this class. I analyzed two different articles from two separate issues of the magazine.
Outside Activities
This article discussed different tools that are newer and can be used in technology. Some of them were simple, like apps and websites that aid students in normal class activities. Others were websites that teachers could use to help plan lessons, and encompassed the entire year or could help in specific areas or grade levels.
The second article that I read discussed the Common Core Standards, how they are incorporated into the lessons, and what types of technologies are used in the classroom. It was nice to learn about how teachers are incorporating different technologies and how the Common Cores work in the classroom.
